Yvie Ruth Baker, From Peter Wagner to Bill Johnson: The History and Epistemology of the “New Apostolic Reformation” (PhD diss., University of Otago, 2021)
This is an interesting and important study on the New Apostolic Reformation. The author first discusses several different but related new theologies: church growth, signs and wonders, spiritual warfare, apostles and prophets, and dominion theology. All are related to Peter Wagner. Then she discusses how all these can be found in Bill Johnson’s Bethel Church.
I found this thesis interesting and engaging. Almost all weird things or beliefs in those churches can be found and discussed here.
